And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient...
(I Timothy 2:24)
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
(James 3:17)
Teaching is a gift from our Lord Jesus Christ that is given, not to take away from the Word of God, but to magnify it. Many seek books and council of men more than the written Word, which subtracts from the Word. The lessons we will set forth will be used to harmonize a given subject by rightly dividing the Word; and, when possible, to give experience as a further witness. Many times we know something is true by the Word of God, but we wait for manifestation. We receive revelations in a seed form. If these same revelations are waited and meditated upon and then lived out, what we learn will become fruit. We seek to present fruit given by our Lord that will, in turn, become seed to produce fruit unto perfection in others.
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear, but when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. (Mark 4: 26-29)
The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. (Ecclesiastes 12: 10-12)
